Our story

The idea began at a kitchen table—not in a boardroom.

NextStage Matters was founded by Marion Caulwell following several years of supporting her own mum through a series of significant life changes, including downsizing, maintaining independence at home and, ultimately, transitioning to residential care following an Alzheimer’s diagnosis.

Through this experience, Marion saw first-hand how overwhelming major life decisions can be for both individuals and their families. She also recognised the value of having practical support, trusted guidance and the right information at the right time.

Drawing on the knowledge and professional network she developed along the way, Marion established NextStage Matters to help others navigate life’s transitions with greater confidence and peace of mind.
